DIY Wedding Projects
I've been hard at work on several DIY projects for our wedding. August is approaching SO fast! I still have lots to do!
Monogram
My first DIY was our monogram. It has gone through a few changes since I originally made it as our colors changed slightly and I decided to add the date. I made it in Publisher by just playing around with fonts and sizes.
Invitations
I cheated a little and used an Anna Griffin kit from Michaels. I designed and printed the text in Word using Purple and Black inks. The kit came with silver ribbons, but I managed to talk my wonderful FI into cutting lengths of purple ribbon to use instead. I think it made all the difference!

Table Numbers
Scrapbook Paper - $12
Prints - $4
Cricut, glue, and scrapbook adhesive
Total - $1.06 per table plus holders
I made table numbers using our E-pics and numbers I cut on my Cricut. I used the Calligraphy cartridge, Matrimony feature. I just ordered the stands for them and will post pics when they come in and are decorated.

2 - 6" Foam balls - $9

I'm using the 2 bigger ones for my reserved pews and the smaller ones for the rest of the pews. The tiny purple one is for my niece, who will be 6 months old by then. Got my DIY instructions from a post on The Knot's DIY board, but I didn't save the link, so I can't give credit unfortunately. They take a while, but I've been lucky to have help. It's not so bad if you just pop in a movie.

Working on our DIY projects...
Adam has been great about helping me with all our projects! While I made pomanders, he assembled place cards. All I have left to do is add the names if I ever get all the RSVPs back! Even Lulu tried to help with the pomanders!
